20 of us on the bun run this morning and weather wise, it was sunny interval with a little rain and a lots of wind. So I went with the first group straight into a head wind all the way to the cafe stop. Given the wind we actually kept a decent pace, but it was hard work, so at the cafe stop I had coffee and cake to my usual Saturday refuel 😁 After the cafe stop we had a very strong tail wind which made for some first times home. This also meant that when I went over Knockhill I set a PB that was 30 sec faster that before 🤩 I was also rushing a little bit to get home to have time to go to the movies and watch Project Hail Mary. So, 47 miles clocked up at an avg speed of 17 mph.

29 of us on the bun run this morning, and with it being a clear and sunny start this morning it also made it frosty to start with. The roads were clear though and I was well wrapped up to keep warm but we did had a little headwind on the way out to the cafe stop but this would give us a tail wind for the road home. I was out with the second group today doing the usual route with a slight detour to avoid the road works that were blocking our usual route through Torryburn. At the cafe stop it was my usual roll and orange juice before we hit the road back home. Today I didn’t go with the others through Milnathort but opted to go over Knockhill instead. With the mountain time trial next week, in which I would be participating I wanted to do quick performance check and road check to make sure everything was in ship shape. All was good by the time I got to Radcraigs and after here it was a quick ride down to Dunfermline and home. So, 48 miles clocked up at an avg speed of 16 mph.
