Ride 11/08/2012 by PaulLund at Garmin Connect – Details.
Doing some mountain biking around the side of the Ochils just so I can mark some of the routes up there. Hopefully I can build up decent set of routes to tackle the hills with.
Ride 04/08/2012 Ochils reverse loop by PaulLund at Garmin Connect – Details.
So did the same Ochils loop as 2 weeks ago but this time a little more successfully. Weather forecast was for a cloudy possible wet day, it actually turned out to be a very nice sunny day.
Ride 21/07/2012 by PaulLund at Garmin Connect – Details.
Tried to ride around the Ochil Hills instead of over them. A little more difficult than I though especially when you ride down roads with dead ends. A small detour later and I was back on track but I still have to ride over the last corner of the Ochils through sheriffmuir as my only alternative was to ride the A9 which I’ll do over my dead body. That road should be a motorway and not an A road its far to busy to ride along without someone killing me.
Ride 14/07/2012 Falkirk to St Andrews by PaulLund at Garmin Connect – Details.

Ride 08/07/2012 up & around the Ochils by PaulLund at Garmin Connect – Details.
Another dull wet day, so I didn’t want to ride too far. Rode up and around the Ochil hills.
Ride 30/06/2012 Falkirk to Lanark by PaulLund at Garmin Connect – Details.
Wet, hilly and ridiculously windy! All in all bad weather day and bad distance day.
Ride 24/06/2012 Falkirk to Dundee by PaulLund at Garmin Connect – Details.
So when I planned this ride the garmin said Falkirk to Dundee was 53 miles, so I thought 106, that’s possible. 4.5 hours and 60 miles! later I get to Dundee, 53 miles my backside >:-(. There was no way I would be able to get back to Falkirk, riding against the wind without killing myself. So I caught a train to Kirkcaldy and rode from there. 103 miles racked up, the furthest I’ve ever ridden my bike

Didn’t ride too far today as I had to go to my mum’s 60th birthday party.

Ride 26/05/2012 Falkirk to Perth by PaulLund at Garmin Connect – Details.
So it’s a nice sunny day and I think I will ride to Perth today.
Cycle stats – 93 miles covered, cycle time 11 hours, 8 of which I’m actually pedalling, 5400 feet of hills climbed :-0
Sunburn stats – right arm fucking cremated and HURTS!!! left arm not burnt, left leg not burnt, right leg fine bar the back of my knee brunt, but not badly, right ankle brunt, but not badly, back of neck burnt quite badly but not in much pain.
Did I use sun block HELL YEAH factor 30! will use factor 60 next time if it exists. I think my arm got it because the sun was on it constantly for 11 hours. Sun on my right on the way to Perth, sun on my right going back home :’-( need to monitor the suns progress and take appropriate action.
