Well today’s bunrun was quite the washout 😕 it was just little ole me today but given that it’s pissing it down I’m not really surprised. Again it wasn’t windy or particularly cold, especially given it’s November, but the rain was heavy and constant. I was soaked within about 30 mins so given I was on my own I changed the route to a shorter affair and skipped out the cafe stop. I was looking to get round as fast as I could but given yesterday’s excretions I was going quite slow. Following a similar Sunday route I went over Knockhill and down to Dollar but didn’t continue onto Tillicoultry and the cafe stop. I turned at Dollar and headed back up to Dollarbeg and then heading for Saline and uphill back to Redcraigs before heading back down to Dunfermline. So 37 miles clocked up at an avg speed of 14 mph, slow in comparison to last weeks efforts but again not surprising after yesterday’s ride. I was glad it was shorter as 2.5 hours of cycling I was drenched through and starting to get cold and was very much looking forward to the hot shower when I got home.
