The first 40 miles was with a 12 mph head behind me but of course the second i turned around to head back home I was screwed. 40 miles with a 12 mph in my face. Bad idea to ride in that, I was forced to use my emergency energy rations which I have never had to do in the 2 and a half years that I&#8217;ve been riding just to get me home and I nearly didn&#8217;t make it.
