I joined the usual 2nd group but we soon merged with the first group to make a larger single group. Going to the cafe stop we had a tailwind so that made thing easy for me to start with, at least up until the cafe stop, where I had my usual roll and orange juice. After the cafe stop we decided to do a longer route, the weather was decent enough for this and it would allow me to get some distance back into my legs so I aimed for 63 miles which is 100 kilometers in new money 😄 Of course we would be riding against a headwind all the way to Milnathort and some of the leg around Loch Leven, just to bump the miles up. But once around Loch Leven we had a tailwind again which I was grateful for as my legs were beginning to tire. I followed the group into Dunfermline where I split to do the last 10 miles to make it up to 63 miles, it was a slow 10 miles as I was very tired at this point and glad when I got back home again. So 63 miles clocked up at an avg speed of 17 mph but my legs certainly paid for that one 😫😩

Ride 15/11/2025 28 of us on the bun run today and weather wise it’s cold, a little windy but dry.
