{"id":4597,"date":"2021-06-19T16:14:18","date_gmt":"2021-06-19T15:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scotlund.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4597"},"modified":"2021-06-19T16:14:19","modified_gmt":"2021-06-19T15:14:19","slug":"ride-19-06-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scotlund.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4597","title":{"rendered":"Ride 19\/06\/2021"},"content":{"rendered":" <p> <em><a href=\"https:\/\/connect.garmin.com\/modern\/activity\/6985325677#.X0EAzkOKB8s.wordpress\">Ride 19\/06\/2021<\/a><\/em> <\/p> \n <p> Well for the last 5 miles of this ride it absolutely pissed it down and I wasn&#8217;t expecting that so in cycling shorts and no wet gear I got fucking soaked to the bone, I even had a cup of water in each shoe and very squelchy feet <span class=\"wp-font-emots-emo-unhappy\"><\/span> <br \/> \nIt started out ok overcast but no forecast for torrential rain so I didn&#8217;t bother with any wet gear, which was a mistake <span class=\"wp-font-emots-emo-displeased\"><\/span> Again there were 20 of us today and when we got to the cafe stop a few of us decided to extend the ride by going to Dunning. I haven&#8217;t ridden up that in a while so I was up for that. Again the weather was fine all the way up but the second we hit Dunfermline it just chucked it down. Anyway thankfully I was feeling fine even after 70 miles of riding and I was only 5 miles from home so I just plodded on.
