About 10 of us were on the slower group but I still managed to clock up 16.6 mph <span class=\"wp-font-emots-emo-grin\"><\/span> I haven&#8217;t gone that fast for a 100 miles in 2 years. Thankfully I still had my Nice legs which is why I wasn&#8217;t killed doing this ride, normally I would ride it at a slower 15 mph rate. I was still getting quite tired towards the end of the ride and the last 15 miles I took the lead of the group just so I could slow it down a bit so I would make it home in one piece, we were avg over 17 mph by the time we got to Aberfoyle for a cafe stop so I needed time to recharge a bit to get home.
