Given the rain I was dressed accordingly but despite the weather forecast it didn&#8217;t rain for most of the ride only a few spots here and there much to my surprise. Even on the 09:00 there were only 3 of us <span class=\"wp-font-emots-emo-displeased\"><\/span> and the decision was made not to stop for a cafe stop, just as well I was packing a lot of energy gels. I was able to keep up with the other riders the whole way round but it did cost me 6 energy gels and ironically enough todays ride wasn&#8217;t any faster than yesterday.
